Barely Breathing, but doing lots of theater

Duncan Sheik had one very big hit a bunch of years ago. He never really went away, though – his musical, ‘Spring Awakening’, is moving to Broadway, and now he’s doing a solo appearance as part of the NYMF. Read all about it here, and don’t forget to breathe.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival is proud to present An Evening with Duncan Sheik, an exclusive salon concert with pop sensation and Broadway composer, Duncan Sheik. This ONE-NIGHT-ONLY special event is set for Wednesday, September 27 @ 8:00 PM in the Penthouse at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues).

Accompanied by an acoustic band, and joined on stage by several special guests, the night will feature tunes new and old written by Sheik, the composer of the Broadway-bound hit Spring Awakening and numerous pop songs such as “Barely Breathing.” Only 75 tickets are available for this one-night-only special event.

An Evening with Duncan Sheik, a ONE-NIGHT-ONLY concert event with Duncan Sheik, will take place on Wednesday, September 27 @ 8:00 PM in the Penthouse at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues). NYMF members may purchase tickets for $50 by calling (212) 352-3101. Non-members may purchase a “NYMF AT NITE” ticket for $75 (includes admission to An Evening with Duncan Sheik and the three Friday Night Parties at New World Stages) by calling (212) 352-3101.
